Is there anyone out there who knows whether the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro differ in terms of display quality?

Both phones have the same screen resolution and brightness levels yet in terms of display the iPhone 16 Pro features a more advanced 120Hz ProMotion technology which enhances scrolling and animation making them reasonably smoother than its competitors.

I’m upgrading from iPhone 11 to the 16 pro, and the only reason I don’t buy the 16 or even the 15 is that they don’t have 120hz displays. I think it’s stupid that apple is gatekeeping them for the non pro models.

Why didn't you mention the $200 cost difference? I will be buying two new iphones this week for my wife and me and $400 total to me for our needs makes the biggest difference.

I was all for the 16 but a 60hz display is insane and a deal breaker

People saying they can’t notice the difference between 60 hz and 120 hz should start wearing glasses ♂️

Well presented content, up to us consumers to decide if the $300 extra cost (on average in Canada) is worth it.

The higher 120Hz refresh eats into battery life. I'm happy to forego it in order to preserve battery.

Two of these differences are really no issue for me firstly 60 Hz versus 120 Hz argument as someone has pointed out in the comment section and also a few have done 120 Hz might be a good feature to have but apparently it drains the battery and as a result it changed it back to 60 Hz display to save on battery and as for the on screen display just use the watch whether it be smart watch or a analog watch that’s just my thought
