There is still a demand for short content on TikTok. Though the platform does seem to be doing better with longer content lately as compared to the past times, shorter and trending videos are still part and parcel of TikTok’s culture and can garner a lot of views too. The confusion comes from the terms of TikTok's Creator Fund, which requires videos to be one minute or longer in order to generate income. But this doesn’t stop the promotion of short clips by the algorithm. So keep creating content regardless of its length, and regardless of your audience and your own style.
