When buying a CPU, pay attention to cores and threads as well as the clock speed for its multitasking capability and processing power. If the CPU is aimed for gaming, four cores would be the minimum requirement. For better future prospects, six or eight cores should be even better. Pay attention to the CPU generation as well as for overclocking support (notated by ‘K’ for Intel or, ‘X’ for AMD). And of course whether the CPU is sold with a cooler or it should be bought additionally.
