Picking a GPU should involve the following approaches: if you plan on playing at 1080p resolution, get GPU in the 60s tier, for 1440p resolution, 70s tier, and for 4K, go for 80s and above tier GPUs. The amount of VRAM present should also be observed with 8GB being the minimum for 1080p, but 10 to 12GB preferred for newer games. Do not forget to look for benchmarks, make sure to evaluate the performance to best price ratio of the card; time points where higher chipsets in newer generations do not imply that those cards are the most cost-effective ones too.

I'm currently considering a system with a Ryzen 5 5600, RX 6600 and 32 GB DDR4 ram.
With a 1tb SSD, stock CPU cooler, 600W power supply and fractal case with 3 installed fans for about 630 bucks...
Gotta say, this content helped me a lot in understanding how all the parts actually work and synergize!
Great content!

Broke my heart when he said the 4070 ti isn't worth it, it was a big contender for my next pc build(2nd ever)

Great content, as always but wish you would have given a couple of supporting points as to why the 4070 ti is a hard no for you. That’s the one I’m considering getting because I like the higher performance compared to the 4070 and the sub $1000 price point. 4080 is above $1000. What are some negatives about the card that make you rule it out as a decent option?

For an AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d cpu, what would be an ideal gpu? Should I use AMD Radeon rx 7900 xtx?

Neither AMD nor Nvidia supply graphics cards to AIB manufacturers, they only supply GPUs and in the case of Nvidia, VRAM.

And A-ATX?

Great content as always. Love the informative content you produce. I do have a question though. Will a i5 13400f be sufficient to pair with a 4070 for 1440p 165hz gaming? How bad will it bottleneck if at all? Thanks in advance and keep up the great content! Always look forward to reading your content!
