Remember when buying a case to check for compatibility with your motherboard type иt’s either ATX or Micro ATX or Mini Itx and that there is enough room for your GPU and CPU cooler. Look out for sufficient number of fans, air flow, build quality, required I/O connectors and even the number of them. Consider also aesthetics and whether the case has any add ons like RGB fans or controllers that compliment your build theme.

Quick question. On my motherboard I have gen 3 and gen 4. However, the gen 3 has the motherboard heat sink and not the gen 4. So I’m guessing I need a gen 4 ssd with a heat sink? OS is on gen 3 looking to get gen 4, soon. Should I move OS over to gen 4? Not to mention the size. Any recommendations please.

how do you tell what speed of M.2 your MB has? I see the speeds of the drives themselves but haven't seen what the actual board can take. I have purchased a Z690 AORUS ELITE AX
