With the introduction of the iPhone 16 already upon us, one is compelled to ask the question, “Is the iPhone 16 a major improvement over earlier iterations?”

Has anyone upgraded to a brand new iPhone 16 and can tell us how it fairs against its predecessor?

Absolutely, the iPhone 16 is indeed worth the purchase as there are new features such as camera control, 25W Max safe charging, and a new refreshing design with new colors. It also incorporates an entirely new camera bump design that sets it apart from the previous generations.

Are people out there really complaining about the bezels of the new iPhone model? If there's anything to complain about with the base model it is the fact that they're still using a 60hz display. It's wild to me that people are apparently completely OK with the fact that they're paying 800$ for a sub par display.

Speaking of 60Hz. I've never been an iPhone person. Got myself very first iPhone 13 with 60Hz display. Sold it after two days of usage. While can't notice the difference when reading or Netflix you can notice HUGE difference while using and scrolling through iOS - it literally looks like broken display and seriously hurts your eyes. Seems like Apple slowed that down for purpose even less than 60Hz. It's absolutely outrageous and not acceptable by any mean at that price point in 2024. People should talk about it more and more.

The last several iPhone generations have all be strictly incremental, including the iPhone 16. IMO, if you have an iPhone 12, 13, 14, or 15, you have no good reason to upgrade to the 16.

The Camera Control button is the worst new feature this year. It's ill-conceived. It's totally unnecessary. In fact, it has killed my desire for any future upgrade. I don't want this button on my phone. Period.

Coming from 13PM to 16PM, I’m disappointed with battery life on the new phone
