Would someone be able to assist with my question? I need recommendations for the best CPUs for gaming, depending on the different available budgets a gamer may have.

If your budget is below £200, then the Intel 12th gen 12400F CPUs should be suitable. For a budget of around £300 who want to invest long-term then it would be wise to purchase AMD Ryzen 7600 CPUs. For the above budget segment one can suggest; Ryzen 7 7700, Ryzen 9 7900, and Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the latter is considered the best for pure gaming. However, do ensure that you match the CPU with the right kind of GPU, consider how many more cores you may require for the tasks other than gaming.

Long story short get a 7800x3d

Got a 7800X3D and will probably wait until a couple of years before upgrading.

The best option is a Ryzen 4070

For those still in AM4 who don't wanna spend much to upgrade, just get the 5700X3D like I did, put a huge chunk of the budget on a good GPU like the 7800XT/7900GRE/4070S and be good for 3-4 more years lol

7800X3D is just the objective king and that might not change even for a while still

I'm happy with my Intel Core i7-14700K, with 5.3Ghz clock speed capable, 20 physical cores, 28 logical processors; and ASUS ProArt RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6. Allows me to render a 1hr 4k content in PowerDirector 365 in only 15 minutes, instead of 2 hours which is how long it would take with my old system (i7-6700k, gtx 1070).

Would really have loved to see the 7950x3d in the benchmarks

No reason to not have the 7950X3D on these lists... It's becoming annoying to constantly see this CPU missing from benchmarks.
