Can anyone elaborate on the relationship between one’s mental health, physical health and being outdoors?

Engaging in outdoor activities in nature or green areas has a positive impact on both physical and mental health. Activities like walking in the countryside or in a park or undertaking shifting baseline projects allow you to engage with nature and its surroundings which are clinical in nature and provides much needed relaxation.

I concur with number 8!  Nothing quite like getting back to your roots in nature.
