I need help if you know of some well-rounded running shoes that will be suitable for everything from training to racing days.

If you are looking for all-rounder running shoes, consider the ASICS Super Blast 2 and the Hoka Mac X2. Super Blast 2’s level of stack height and cushioning is nice for easy runs but still responsive for faster paces. Hoka Mac X2 is based on a pebax plate and has a stack of pebax foam which makes it suitable for hard-tempo runs as well as cruising. These shoes can fit various runs: long runs, easy day runs and anything up to race day runs.

I bought most of the shoes, these guys told me, so i now have:

Superblast 1 and 2
Endorphine Speed 4
Puma Velocity Nitro 3
Saucony Hurricane 24,
Puma Magmax Nitro
Saucony Triumph 21

Agree with consensus opinion that Superblast is best.

Superblast 2 all day.... Definitely not fastest at 5k, but I've ran it across all distances up to 50k and it's a gift that keeps giving. Also decent durability.

Kieran picks the Speed 4, all is good with the world! Great shoe, bought 2 weeks ago, love wearing. Mach 6 also very good.

I'm a starting runner and still more than a bit of a plodder.  Superblast 2 does everything I need right now. I actually have to make myself use other shoes just to even out wear and give it some rest.

I have the SB2, Neo Vista, and Mach 2. They are all great all-rounders with each having a different character. If I had to choose one for the widest variety of runs, it'd be the SB2. The midsole is also the most balanced feeling. The Neo Vista is definitely the softest and bounciest and best of the three for easy/recovery paces but can surprisingly pick up the speed and feel good when you push it. The Mach 2 is the fastest and the most propulsive of the three and best suited for tempo/threshold and intervals although it's okay for slower paces as well. I find the three very complementary to each other. I have many shoes, but this trio could probably replace everything else to cover virtually any type of run, including races as long as I'm not shooting for a PB, in which case I'd probably go with a dedicated carbon-plated racer like the Alphafly 3 or Metaspeed Sky Paris.

Hoka mach x2 wins for me. The superblast is good but it's just not much fun compared to the Hoka mach x2
