I'm in the market for a new smartphone and I am factoring in the cost. Do Androids provide lower prices compared to the iPhones?

Indeed, a number of Androids are more affordable while still delivering flagship-like specs and features. In addition, phone manufacturers such as Samsung are known to include free accessories or discounts when buying another new phone which is not common with Apple products.

I still mainly used an iPhone 11. Looked this month at the iPhone 16 plus at 1100 USD and then got the offer from my carrier for a Samsung S24 FE for 440 USD. Combined it with a Samsung fit 3 for 60 USD. I am now an impressed android user...

S22U and S24U user here - I'm considering switching to Huawei's triple fold in 2 years when this phone is good polished.

Well said! Great content! I always go for a phone that can handle what I want to do decently. I personally don't see the point in spending a lot on a phone with specs I would probably not be using most of the time. I tend to go with midrange as it's a good balance on price and specs. Currently using the Pixel 7a and will be using it until it gives up on me before upgrading.
