Well, cannabinoids are compounds found mainly in the flowering tops of a plant called cannabis. There are three primary types of cannabinoids found in cannabis; THC, CBD and CBN. Cannabinoids are also the active chemical ingredients that can be extracted from the cannabis plant. Even though cannabis is the most famous of the plants that possess cannabinoids and bioactive compounds. Cannabinoids produce effects that are similar to those of opioid receptor agonists, like morphine. The range of plants that are known to produce them and their synthetic versions is much broader.

Cannabinoids are a type of compound that is present in the cannabis plant. There are many varieties of cannabinoids; in total, there are over a hundred different kinds. Although they are most commonly found in cannabis plants, other plants such as cacao have also been found to contain cannabinoids which explains why many enjoy dark chocolate. The cannabis plant, nevertheless, bears the highest levels of cannaboids.

We have to know the differences between these cannabis compounds to get to know them better and have enough knowledge to impart to others. We can also know what cannabis compounds are best for us.

I have OA in my neck and knees.  Also 9 pinched nerves in my neck.  I take cbc/cbd in the morning and cbn/cbd at night before bed. It works wonders.  I was amazed at the difference in my sleep with just 10mg cbn at night.  The pain/anti inflamitory effect of cbd takes a bit to work, usually 3-4 days but it only takes 1-2 days to notice when I stop.

One of the biggest mistakes that I believe the current cannabis industry is making is prioritizing THC levels and minimizing levels of the other cannabinoids such as CBD. This is primarily why we are seeing the rise of people developing cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, which is where heavy users develop uncontrollable vomiting. Yes, THC provides a pleasurable effect, but too much of something is always going to be a bad thing. Products that have equal amounts of THC and CBD, known as 1:1 products, tend to provide much more beneficial effects because you have CBD present to modulate the negative effects that can arise with THC consumption. There are even products that have double the amount of CBD to THC (sometime 5:1 or higher) that have their benefits, especially for new users. I firmly believe that the industry needs to prioritize growing strains that are more resemblant of the natural strains that were around before human bioengineering and cross-cultivation came into play, because those strains are much less likely to produce negative effects on people.

I recently tried gummies with 30mg CBN /30mg of Delta 8. I also took a 100mg CBD gummie. It felt like the first time I got high 19 years ago.

My anxiety vanished, just like the first time I got high. I felt euphoric. I really think CBN might be the missing link to get your "like the first time" feeling all over again.  Of course in moderation, because tolerance made the effect lessen.
