In a workout routine, an active rest day is important as it facilitates recuperation while still getting the body to be active. This day can be used for running, swimming, biking or any other cardio exercise. It helps enhance stamina, breathing, and circulation which encourages fitness and assists in muscle recovery and development. Moreover, if you are exhausted from the workout days, this is also a great time to target abs.

Started this routine today. I've been going to the gym for around 7 months now but I hadn't tried this because i do running every workout so i had to adapt this routine to my liking

Now i can do the whole thing, plus 30-40 minutes of running.
